My name is Mallory Welch and I have been working as
a Speech Language Pathologist in Bethalto Unit 8 for 19 years.
For the 2019-2020 school year, I will service students at
Bethalto East Elementary in Kindergarten and First Grade.
I really enjoy working in Bethalto and helping students with a wide variety of communication disorders, including autism, articulation deficits, receptive and expressive language disabilities, voice disorders, fluency (stuttering issues) and hearing impairment.

I graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 1999 with my Masters Degree in Communication Disorders and Science. I hold a Type 10 Illinois Teachers Certificate, Illinois State Licensure and my National Certification through the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

My husband and I have 5 children, ranging in age from 8 years to 29 years old. They definitely keep us on our toes! I enjoy spending time at my church, with friends, traveling, scrapbooking, and dancing in my zumba classes.

You can reach me at 377-7250, ext 13118 or through email at mwelch@bethalto.org.
